Privacy Policy

ScopeGuard is designed to manage project scope without collecting your client work on ScopeGuard servers.

Data stored by the app

ScopeGuard stores information you enter locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This can include your business profile, client contact details, project names, prices, dates, notes, agreed scope, client request wording, impact estimates, Change Orders, and status history.

Data collection and tracking

The current version does not require an account and does not transmit your app data to ScopeGuard-operated servers. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection SDKs.

PDF generation and sharing

Change Order PDFs are generated locally on your device. A PDF leaves ScopeGuard only when you choose a destination through the iOS share sheet. The service or app you select may process that PDF under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Your app data remains on your device until you delete individual records, choose Erase All Local Data in Settings, or remove the app. ScopeGuard does not maintain a server backup and cannot recover deleted local data.

Security

ScopeGuard relies on iOS device security and Apple system frameworks for local storage. You are responsible for controlling access to your device and reviewing recipients before sharing a PDF.

This website

This support website does not intentionally use analytics, advertising, cookies, or cross-site tracking. Its hosting provider may process standard request information, such as an IP address and technical logs, as needed to deliver and protect the site.

Children’s privacy

ScopeGuard is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children.

Future changes

If a future version adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, subscriptions, or other data processing, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that feature is released.
